Tiyanaks

In “Tiyanaks,” the creatures have fully-grown feet and legs. Jay elaborates, “There are three kinds of tiyanaks, based on the location of the creature.” He and his team made sure that each type has a distinct look: “The land tiyanak looks like wood. The water tiyanak is slimy and its hair looks like seaweed. The air tiyanak has wings underneath its hands.
The computer artists at Riot were as meticulous with the movement of the creatures as they were with the appearance.
“Tiyanaks” is groundbreaking in the sense that it utilizes certain firsts in visual effects and design. 3-D ang characters, which is not normally seen kasi dati puro puppets. At first time na ganito ka-detailed ang creatures.”
