Finally after three years of courtship, Migs (Dingdong Dantes), a medical intern, marries simple and unassuming Joy (Marian Rivera), a nurse in the hospital of Migs’ residency. Several days before the wedding, his first love and childhood best friend Bela, a sophisticated woman, (Iza Calzado) returns from Canada, still single and in love with Migs.
The young couple meets an unfortunate incident turning their newly-found bliss into a tragic existence. Will Migs ever find his way to recovery and into the arms of the one he truly loves? Will he find the missing piece to form the conflicted puzzle that is his heart? Will he able to pick up from where he left off or would he rather be with his present and incidentally his past love?
